Federal Cabinet to meet in Islamabad today

697606-pm_cabinetmeetingPID-1397855833-858-640x480 ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet is meeting in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair. The meeting will discuss sixteen point agenda pertaining to matters of national importance. The agenda include revision of Basic Pay of some public office holders and public representatives and amendment in Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Issuance of NOC for Indian Origin Medicines and approval of the Cabinet to start negotiations on bilateral Agreement between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the field of disaster management are also on the agenda of the meeting. The meeting is likely to give approval for signing of the draft memorandum of understanding between Pakistan and South Africa on defence and defence industrial cooperation and MOU between Pakistan and Malaysian anti-corruption commission for strengthening cooperation in preventing and combating corruption. The Cabinet will also discuss and approve MOUs and agreements with different countries in different fields. Confirmation of the decisions taken by the cabinet committee on restructuring in its meeting held on 11th of this month is also on the agenda. - APP
