Pakistan, Zimbabwe holding practice session today

LAHORE: Pakistan and Zimbabwe cricket teams will participate in a practice session at Qaddafi stadium today in Lahore ahead of the first T20 match scheduled to be played on May 22, Samaa reported.

Pakistan's coach Waqar Younis is hopeful of better performance from the team in the series against Zimbabwe.

"We are hoping for an interesting comepetition and the team is ready to give tough time to Zimbabwe," Younis added.

Pakistan's team will focus on batting practice on the second day of training which will be held under floodlights.

Zimbabwe coach Dav Whatmore said he is aware of weaknesses in Pakistan's cricket team.

"We are ready to take advantage and exploit flaws of Pakistan team," Whatmore added. - Samaa
