Nisar attending UN meeting on drugs today

WASHINGTON: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday arrived in New York where he will attend an special meeting of United Nations General Assembly on drug issues. The meeting will continue for three days. “In his address to the meeting, the Interior Minister will highlight measures taken by the government to control the menace of drugs,” officials said. Delegates from across the world are attending the meeting. A joint communique will also be approved in the concluding session of the meeting. - APP
