RAWALPINDI: The Health experts have warned the citizens not to consume too much red meat during Eid ul Azha, as it can cause indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, high blood pressure, vomiting and uric acid in the body.
Talking to APP, Dr Fazl u Rehman a medical specialist of Holy Family Hospital said the citizens must use plenty of water during and after the Eid holidays for smooth functioning of stomach system.
District Health Officer Dr Javaid Iqbal Chaudhry advised the people to take balanced diet containing meat and vegetable so that the chances of contacting illness could be reduced.
He said that meat should properly be washed with fresh water. He suggested that people should avoid preserving meat for many days. - APP
