Nov 30, -0001

ISLAMABAD: The government got no evidence to support Daesh’s claim that the latter was involved in Karachi bus attack that left at least 47 people dead, official sources said.

The police had recovered a pamphlet from the crime scene bearing a message from Daesh claiming responsibility for the assault.

According to the sources, the same pamphlets were also recovered from the sites of two other militant attacks, however, the government found no evidences of Daesh’s involvement in the incidents.

The federal government has decided to hold a high-level meeting to deliberate upon the proofs that indicate Indian spy agency Raw’s involvement in Karachi massacre, they said.

Several suspects have been rounded up following the Safoora Goth carnage but no major breakthrough in the investigation of the incident took place.

The sources also said that there was no intelligence information of the attack prior to the incident. –Samaa
