KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday said that he was saddened by the statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain regarding their telephonic conversation.
“Altaf Hussain was agitated and ended his call in the middle of conversation,” said Chief Minister Shah in a statement.
“I left a meeting to attend the phone call of Altaf Hussain, but he was very hyper,” he said.
His clarification came shortly after Altaf Hussain deplored the PPP leadership for its “indifferent attitude”.
Hussain said that Chief Minister Shah was unable to understand his call due to his old age.
“I also made repeated phone calls to Asif Ali Zardari on two numbers in Dubai, but got no response,” he lamented. – SAMAA
