ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl Ur Rahman on Friday termed demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek unconstitutional.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House he said, "All the political parties in parliament are unanimous that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should not resign from premiership."
Fazal Ur Rehman said that all those who have struggled for the constinuation of democracy in Pakistans are united to safeguard it from the violators.
He stressed that democracy would not be derailed and they will continue their fight to safeguard constitution and law of the land.
He said the national assembly had rejected the unconstitutional demands from PTI and PAT for the resignation of the Prime Minister and the dissolution of the assemblies.
JUI chief urged these political parties to show maturity and work for the strengthening of democracy and its institutions.
He claimed that PTI and PAT are in isolation and people in various parts of the country had started protects against them. (APP)
