RAWALPINDI: Hanif Abbasi, ruling PML-N leader, Saturday slammed PTI Chairman Imran Khan with hefty defamation lawsuit worth Rs 1 billion for ‘damaging his reputation.’
A local court in Rawalpindi has summoned Khan on December 22 in this regard.
In the lawsuit, Abbasi contended that the PTI chairman damaged his reputation by calling him ‘drug pusher’ and ‘fake medicine maker’ while addressing sit-in participants on top of luxurious container in Islamabad.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdul Sattar Langah issued notice to Khan summoning him to appear in the court on December 22. -Samaa
