LAHORE: Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT chief Tahir ul Qadri would join hands to oust Sharif brothers from power.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion of ‘Days of Martyrs’ being observed by PAT, Rashid said that rumors were being spread that Imran Khan was ready for vote recount on 10 seats. “This is no more an issue of 10 seats. We want to reject two seats of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif,” he stated.
He said that other parties who were siding with Nawaz Sharif should make a decision before August 14.
“There is no precedence of sacrifices rendered by the PAT’s workers despite the brutality of state force,” he said.
The AML leader also warned Punjab police from resorting to violence against peaceful protesters. - SAMAA
