Several Sindh cities suffer as water level increases in River Indus

Staff ReportKARACHI: Water level has increased alarmingly in River Indus, inundating several areas of Kashmor, Ghotki, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu and Thatta, SAMAA reports on Saturday.Several villages located close to bigger Hamal lake in Qambar-Shahdadkot and Manchhar lake in Jamshoro districts have already been inundated.Yesterday, as many as 30 villages were inundated as the water level increased at Dadu-Moro Bridge, River IndusThe Provincial Disaster Management Cell has issued warning after the situation. The commissioner directed authorities to vacate the affected area. The flood is also expected in the parts of Sukkur and Larkana. SAMAA
