Prayers for Malala at holy mosques in Makkah, Madina

Staff ReportKARACHI: Special prayers were held across the country and in abroad for the recovery of 14-year-old Malala Yousufzai who is gradually improving after being shot by Taliban militants, SAMAA reports.Reports said prayers for the Pakistani children rights activists were held in the Masjid Ul-Haraam, Makkah, and Masjid-e-Nabvi at Madina Munawara.In Pakistan, Christians held special mass at Catholic Churches in Faisalabad, Peshawar cities and hailed Malala’s struggle for the promotion of education.The Christian community paid tribute to the schoolgirl and expressed solidarity with her family.In Karachi, doctors and other medical staff at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) prayed for Malala’s speedy recovery. -- SAMAA
