Drug filled capsules recovered from smuggler’s belly at Islamabad airport

Staff ReportISLAMABAD: The Security agencies have foiled a drug smuggling bid after recovering drug filled capsules from belly of a Dhaka bound smuggler at Islamabad airport, SAMAA reported on Sunday.According to the Anti Narcotics Force officials, a passenger, who intended to leave for Dhaka via Dubai, was marked over his suspicious acts at the air port.The ANF officials searched his body and luggage thoroughly. When he was scanned thorough a special body scanner, he confessed on the spot that he is carrying 50 heroine filled capsules in his abdomen.He was taken into custody by the ANF officials and all drug filled capsules were recovered from his stomach with a little effort at the airport.The held drug smuggler was identified as Ilyas and he is a resident of Karachi. The ANF interrogation team is interrogating him to trace the real culprits and network of the drug smugglers. SAMAA
