Balochistan: Three FC men martyred in roadside blast in Awaran

Staff ReportAWARAN: At least three security officials were martyred and four others wounded in roadside explosion in Balochistan’s Awaran town, SAMAA reported Friday.Official said the blast targeted convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) force on a main road in Awaran area this morning.According to initial reports three soldiers have been martyred and four others injured.Awaran is the capital of Awaran district in Balochistan province. It was affected by a powerful earthquake in September last year; nearly 300 people were killed.During relief and rescue operations following the earthquake, security forces and aid workers came under several attacks in the area considered to be a stronghold of Baloch militants. - SAMAA
