Karachi blasts: Funeral prayers for martyred DSP offered

Staff ReportKARACHI: Funeral prayers of DSP Kamal Khan Maghan, who was killed in a blast in Karachi’s Landhi area, were offered late on Thursday, SAMAA reported.DSP Kamal Khan Maghan was among the three police officials who were killed when two powerful bombs exploded with an interval of five to eight minutes in a garbage dump near Sherpao Colony in Landhi.Eight other people, including SHO and ambulance volunteers, were injured.IG Sindh, Fayyaz Leghari, Additional IG Iqbal Mehmood, a large number of police officers and area people attended the funerals held in Police Headquarters Garden.The victim’s body was dispatched to his native town, Qambar, for burial. -- SAMAA
