Multan: Two girls drown in River Chenab

Staff reportMULTAN: Two sisters drowned while picnicking at River Chenab in Multan on Saturday, SAMAA reports. Banyamin, a resident of Dolat Gate, took his two daughters to Head Muhammad Wala for picnic. According to reports, Aisha, 9, accidentally slipped into the river. Her elder sister, Chand Bibi, also jumped into the river to rescue her sister. The father of the two girls followed them, but failed to save his daughters. According to an eyewitness, he tried his best to rescue them, but only managed to save Banyamin. SAMAA
