'Mischievous' error in SSC annual exam paper

LAHORE: A question asked in Lahore Board's class IX annual paper of Urdu stirred up a controversy. The board administration has directed an investigation while Punjab Teachers' Union rejected the objection.The question 'in question' is: 'What are the basis of our way of life?' There are four options as answers: 'Faith, World, Wealth or Mr. Zardari.'Punjab Teachers' Unions has warned against any action in response to the question saying selection of questions is their discretion.SSC's annual exams are being held in Punjab Province. 'The controversial' question was a part of a questionnaire in the in class IX's annual paper.A spokesman for the Lahore Board said Chairman has taken notice and has sought explanation. He said the the paper is prepared by the Dera Ghazi Khan Board. Lahore Board has raised an objection why the name of President has been used in the paper.Punjab Teachers' Union say that using Mr. Zardari's name as an option for the answer is not wrong. It said the one right options is obligatory while the paper-setter has discretion to set rest of the optionsThe union's spokesman said that Zardari may be any person as the paper-setter didn't use a particular name. He said any action against the paper-setter will be opposed. SAMAA
