PM Gilani chairs NCA’s emergency meeting in GHQ

Staff ReportRAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has chaired an emergency meeting of National Command Authority (NCA) in GHQ today, SAMAA reported on Thursday.Apart from the PM Gilani, all three armed forces’ chiefs, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Federal Defense Minister Ahmad Mukhtar and officials of foreign and finance ministeries attended the meeting.The NCA meeting reviewed situation developed after suspension of 800 million dollars’ defense aid by the US.Today’s emergency meeting of the NCA was held to develop and adopt a unified stance, over suspension of US military aid, by the political and military leadership of the country.
