Two children die as truck falls on donkey cart in Lahore

Staff ReportLAHORE: Two children died and four others incurred injuries when a scrap-laden truck fell on their donkey cart in Lahore on Sunday. The unfortunate accident took place on Band Road. According to reports, the truck loaded with scrap lost balance after one of its tires punctured and overturned and fell on a donkey cart, burying a family of gypsies under the wreckage. Following the crash, locals immediately started rescue operation on self help basis. However, they were soon joined by rescue teams. Four people, including a couple and their two kids, were pulled alive. But two children died of wounds under the fallen scrap. SAMAA
