Heavy rains lash southern Sindh

Staff ReportKARACHI: Heavy rains with thunderstorm lashed the coastal areas of Sindh including Badin, Thatta and Tharparkar while several villages inundated where three persons have been killed, SAMAA reported Thursday.The district administration of Badin has declared an emergency. Several villages in Tarai, area of Badin, have been flooded where two minor girls were killed while one persons drowned in Amir Shah Nullah. The district administration has also established camps.Ten persons were wounded in Thatta.Heavy rains with thunderstorm disturbed life in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Larkana, Mithi and neighboring areas in Hyderabad division. Power supply was suspended in Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan and other areas as rains started. SAMAA
