Hapless Badin flood victims put children on sale

Nov 30, -0001
By Suleman MandhroBADIN: Flood-ravaged people of Badin have been forced to put their children on sale in open markets due to hunger and inadequate relief activities. After losing their homes to flash floods in Badin, affected people are taking shelter at relief camps. But unavailability of ration and water at Iqral School Camp forced flood victims to put their children on sale in the city. They said authorities are not ready to help them. Therefore, they have decided to sell some of their kids to earn some money so that others could celebrate Eid. Flood victims say they are helpless at camps and their homes and villages are still under floodwater. But the administration is forcing them to leave camps instead of offering any help. SAMAA
