Rains damage remains of Mohan Jo Daro

LARKANA: The remains of Mohan Jo Daro are also damaged in ongoing monsoon rains, SAMAA reported Wednesday.
The remains are severely damaged while the rain water is accumulated on several areas of the historical site.
The administration has started repairing the damaged walls and taking accumulated water off from the sites.
Mohan Jo Daro is situated in the province of Sindh and is one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. It was built around 2600 BC and was one of the world's earliest major urban settlements, existing at the same time as the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Crete. SAMAA
