Pak-Iran to ink gas pipeline pact Friday

ANKARA: Pakistan and Iran will sign the gas pipeline agreement in Turkey tomorrow (Friday), sources revealed on Thursday.

Both the countries have discussed all matters, including pricing and pipeline routes, while officials of both sides have decided to ink the agreement tomorrow.

Secretary Petroleum Kamran Lashari will sign the agreement on behalf of Pakistan.

It may be noted that Pakistan will receive 750 cubic feet gas on daily basis after the completion of this plan, on which $400 million have been spent so far. SAMAA
