Journalists barred, threatened at JPMC

KARACHI: At the arrival of Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza in the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), all the journalists were forced to stop the coverage of her visit and the media men were threatened by the staff members of JPMC, SAMAA reported Wednesday.

Shehla Raza has condemned the attitude of the officials in the JPMC. “I condemn this sort of the attitude.”
While talking to SAMAA she said that the media persons are not the terrorists, therefore, such behavior should be avoided. They (the media persons) were invited and I personally requested them to visit the hospital. SAMAA
