ISLAMABAD: A PAF aircraft UAV minus its pilot underwent an accident near Sargodha, said sources Tuesday.

According to a PAF spokesperson, the UAV aircraft was saved from a major disaster by having it land through a parachute. “It has incurred minor damage which will be repaired,” he said.

The UAV was on a routine training flight during which it fell prey to the accident.

There were no casualties.

The PAF Command has ordered investigation of the accident. SAMAA
