Kashmore embankment collapsed

KASHMORE: Several villages have flooded after the collapse of the Torri embankment and the water may enter into Ghauspur, Karrampur and Torri city.
SAMAA team on Saturday visited the villages affected by the recent flood of the Indus River.
The local administration said that it was trying to shift people to safer places but SAMAA learnt that the administration has done nothing practically.
GUDDU BARAGE
The water level at Guddu Barage is constantly increasing while the flow of water reaches over 1.8 million cusecs.
Sindh government has imposed emergency in the area and issued directions to take precautionary measures.
The irrigation experts fear that the high level flow of water can breach embankment. SAMAA
