Pakistan, Italy sign defense pact

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi have signed a defense pact in Rome to share intelligence and enhance military cooperation.

The leaders held a joint press conference and talked of further cooperation between Pakistan and Italy in coming days. President Asif Ali Zardari paid special thanks to the Italian premier for his cooperation in the war against terror. SAMAA
