Veterinary University of Lahore holds DNA Day function

LAHORE: The Veterinary University of Lahore held a function to observe DNA Day here on Saturday. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Muhammad Nawaz presided over the proceedings.
Students presented a quiz programme to highlight the advantages of the DNA.
Dr. Muhammad Nawaz, addressing the function, said former US president Bill Clinton had announced the discovery of DNA in 2000 on the same day.
Nawaz said, the last century was known as the "Century of Physics" while this century is called the "Century of Biotechnology". SAMAA
