Three-storey building in Lahore collapses

LAHORE: A three-storey building of the Punjab Auqaf Department situated in the Anarkali area of Lahore collapsed on Friday after yesterday’s heavy rainfall.
The incident took place at around 9:00 am, therefore, the building was empty and there were no casualties. Locals of the area claim that they had requested the department to undertake repair and maintenance work before the monsoons but they were ignored. SAMAA
