Imran: No-trust motion a tool to get NRO for opposition

Prime minister address public rally in Mansehra

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the opposition has introduced the no-confidence motion against him because it wants to seek an NRO for its leaders.

The prime minister addressed a public rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mansehra, and repeatedly referred to Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif and Fazul Rehman as “three rats” and “three stooges.”

He said they were blackmailing him, but they would be hunted down. "I feel a bit sorry about these three rats," he said.

He accused the opposition of lying to the people about the government's performance.

He said Nawaz Sharif told lies to leave Pakistan first in the Musharaff era and then under the PTI rule and now he is sitting in London.

Imran Khan said that his government has performed well on the economic front and the industry is growing. “Textile industry is unable to find workers” due to growing business, he said.

Imran Khan said the IT industry alone can lift the country’s economy. He also cited a new agreement on the Reko Diq gold mine as a success of his government.

Imran Khan also said that the government has reversed the losses of the Pakistan Railways.

He said Allah has commanded people to support virtue and oppose vice. This principle was followed more closely in the West, where everyone including the press, unite against political leaders if they steal public money, he said.

"I refer to Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in my speeches not to garner support from people but because I truly believe in Islamic teachings," he said.

Towards the end of the speech, Imran Khan asked people to raise hands to tell him if “these three rats who are out to hunt” will be successful.

The prime minister claimed that Shehbaz Sharif has assured the Americans of his loyalty, and he is dreaming of becoming prime minister.

“Sharif family’s days to loot this country are gone. I feel, the Sharifs will launch their politics in London now, he said adding that if they do so, after a short while England would be forced to borrow money from Pakistan.

He asked people to participate in the March 27 rally being organised by the PTI in Islamabad.

The nation will come out to tell the Sharifs that they are going to bury the PMLN politics, he said.

A new Pakistan will be founded on their political graves, he said.

Imran Khan said the PTI will introduce a system that will make this country a great nation.
