Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the first Test against Australia, according to sources.
The right-armer has been recalled from training and is currently in isolation. Meanwhile, the rest of the members of the Pakistan squad will be tested again.
Soon after, the PCB also confirmed the news in a brief statement.
"Haris Rauf has tested positive (Rapid Antigen Test). He has been isolated. Further details will be provided in due course," the board said.
Moreover, Naseem Shah has been added to the squad in place of the pacer.
Rauf had joined the Pakistan squad in Rawalpindi after the end of the HBL Pakistan Super League season seven, where his side Lahore Qalandars were crowned champions.
Australia will play first of three Tests against Pakistan in Rawalpindi on March 4. It will be followed by Tests in Karachi and Lahore before three ODIs and a single Twenty20, all in Rawalpindi.
