Islamabad United lose Alex Hales for remaining PSL7 matches
England opener Alex Hales has decided to pull out from the ongoing Pakistan Super League season seven citing personal reasons.
The 31-year-old made an impactful contribution in the top order for the Shadab Khan-led unit in the HBL PSL7.
The franchise also confirmed the development stating that the star batter has decided to withdraw due to personal reasons. "We wish him very best of luck for his future," they added.
In seven PSL outings, the right-hander scored 255 runs at an average of 42.50. His best score came against Peshawar Zalmi during the Karachi-leg, where he struck an unbeaten 82.
The Englishmen was recently picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) after his impressive performance in the PSL.
