Hareem Shah appears in awkward video after lip filler disaster
TikToker Hareem Shah has posted a video after returning from a beauty clinic with a lip filler disaster.
But she has an interesting story to tell about the botched procedure.
In an Instagram post, Hareem says she had a long-lasting dream and was planning to sign up for a lip filler appointment for the past few days, so she went to a clinic in London.
Speaking with one half of the upper lip bulged into deformity, Hareem Shah said that she laid on the "stretcher" in the clinic and the specialist had barely completed the procedure on one side of her face when she received a phone call revealing to her that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was about to freeze her bank accounts.
The TikToker said she was saddened and got up from the operating table, thinking how would she pay for the procedure on the other side of the face now that her bank accounts were being frozen.
The FIA is investigating money-laundering allegations against Hareem and has sent letters to two banks in Lahore and Karachi to freeze accounts in her name.
On January 12, Hareem had posted a video to Instagram with several bundles of foreign currency notes and claimed to have smuggled a “heavy amount” from Pakistan to the UK. This sparked investigation against her.
However, her claim about abandoning the lip filler appointment because of the FIA action was a little too far fetched.
The TikToker claimed that she planned to use the money saved from the procedure on food.
"As soon as I see another possiblity or the FIA has pity on me, I will get the lip filling done on the other side as well," she said.
"Or else I will tell the FIA that because of you I have landed in this situation," she added, giggling all the while.
"So how do I look?" she asks her fans at the end.
