National T20 Cup: Shaheen, Rizwan star as KP beat Balochistan
Haris Sohail's side register comfortable eight-wicket win in Multan
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) registered a comfortable eight-wicket victory over Balochistan in the fifth game of the National T20 Cup in Multan.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan led his side from the front in the run chase and top scored with 57 off 42 deliveries with the help of five boundaries and two sixes.
He also put on a 66-run partnership with veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez who scored 45 off 25 balls with the help of five boundaries and three sixes.
Earlier, Balochistan won toss and elected to bat first. They scored 151-9 with Imran Butt scoring 37 off 32 balls.
Left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi returned with match-winning figures of 5-20 in his four overs.
Central Punjab will play Sindh in the second match of the day.
