20 NEPRA employees test COVID-19 positive

Chairperson orders staff to work from home

Twenty workers of the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority have contracted the novel coronavirus, it was reported on Tuesday.

They were tested for the virus after returning from their Eid holidays. The authority chairperson has ordered staffers to avoid coming to office and work from home.

The employees were working on fixing the electricity tariff for the next fiscal year's budget.
