Online Food Festival: Achari Chili Bites recipe

Here is what you'll need!


Green chillies (big) – 6

For filling:

Chicken mince – ½ cup

Water – as per need

Chilli garlic sauce – 1tbsp

Garlic paste – 1tsp

For Achari Masala:

Nutmeg powder – ½ tsp

Black pepper powder – ½ tsp

Red chilli powder – ½ tsp

Salt – to taste

Fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp

Nigella seeds – ½ tsp

Fennel – ½ tsp

Mustard seed – ½ tsp

Mayonnaise – 200g

Eggs -2

All-purpose flour – 1 cup

Corn flour – 1 cup

Rice flour – ½ cup

Bread crumbs – 2 cups

Cooking oil


1.      Remove the seeds of green chilies .

2.      Place in Cold water.

3.      Cook minced chicken and let it cool down.

4.      Once it's cool down add chili garlic sauce, garlic paste, salt red chili powder, black pepper, nigella seeds, fenugreek seed, mustard seed, fennel, nutmeg powder & mix well all the spices.

5.      Now add mayonnaise.

6.      Mix well.

7.      Now take out green chills from cold water and dry with a piece of cloth.

8.      Fill the chilies with prepared filling.

9.      Close the cut, press gently

10.   Beat eggs.

11.   Mix all-purpose flour, corn flour, rice flour and set aside.

12.   Coat with flour mixture.

13.   Now dip into eggs and finally into bread crumbs.

14.   Repeat the procedure of eggs and bread crumbs.

15.   Rest for 10 minutes

16.   Deep fry the chilies. 17.   Serve hot with your loved ones.
