Two killed during truck collision on Pindi Bhattian’s M-2 Motorway
Another accident took place during rescue operation
Two people were killed and three injured after two mini trucks collided on Pindi Bhattian’s M-2 Motorway on Sunday, according to rescue officials.
While the rescue operation was under way, another accident took place on the motorway. A speeding bus hit the assistant petrol officer who was helping the rescue teams.
"Officer Noor Muhammad was helping take out the injured people from the truck when he was hit by a speeding passenger bus," a rescue officer said.
He was shifted to a hospital with other injured people. Muhammad couldn't sustain the injuries and passed away.
Motorway DIG Ashfaq Ahmed has taken notice of the incident and has ordered immediate arrest of the bus driver.
