PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat will host a Ramzan transmission this year on PTV, APP reported on Wednesday.
The government-run news agency quoted him as saying that he will host a Ramzan transmission this year on PTV global, world, news and home.
Liaquat, the media person-turned-politician, has hosted a Ramzan transmission for various TV channels in the past.
He was accused of hate speech in the past and faced the wrath of the Supreme Court. In December 2018, the apex court accepted his unconditional apology in a contempt case.

It has cautioned him not to repeat the offence in which he used hate speech and derogatory language against individuals, including media persons. The case was initiated against him for failing to adhere to earlier promises not to use hate speech again.
The three-member bench, headed by then Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar, had ordered him to tender an unconditional apology in the case.
When he was tendering his apology, the former CJP observed that from his face, Liaquat did not seem to be very apologetic. Liaquat said that if he makes the mistake again he will give up his right to apologise.
