The prices of hundreds of medicine will be reduced, says Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan.

She was speaking to the media after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

"We will take away any illegal earning from pharmaceutical companies," she said, emphasising that there is a need to improve Pakistan and Iran’s trade relations. “Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech gives a way to move forward in this aspect,” she said.

Awan said PM Khan will go on a trip to China soon. She said he will discuss the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

Our economy grow will only grow if we get investment, she added.
