Sindh govt fires 33 ghost doctors in Tharparkar

File photo: Rahman-ullah-Khan The Sindh government has fired 33 ghost doctors and 15 paramedics in Tharparkar, health department officials said Saturday. The ghost doctors were receiving salaries as well as perks of Rs200,000, the officials said. The doctors used to come to the hospitals twice a month, Sindh's health director-general said, adding that they will hire doctors to fill the vacant positions soon.
