An attempted murder case has been registered against a private hospital in Karachi for its handling of an eight-month-old girl's medical treatment.  Staff at Darul Sehat, located in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, injected the infant with the incorrect dosage of a drug and now she is in critical condition. She has been shifted to another private hospital on Stadium Road. Her father, Qaiser Ali, has registered the case against the hospital at the Sharae Faisal police station under attempted murder and negligence sections. He says he wants justice and to make sure this doesn't happen to other people. PTI leader Bilal Ghaffar said he will bring up the issue during the Sindh Assembly session on Monday.
