American actor Jada Pinkett Smith has Sufi music on her playlist these days and she's loving a song by two of Pakistan’s top vocalists. In a post on her Instagram, Smith was all praises for our very own Sufi legend Abida Parveen and Qawwal maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. She posted a video of Coke Studio’s Chaap Tilak with a caption: “@queenofsoul_ap and @officialrfakworld are two of my favorite vocalist of Sufi music. This song is called Chaap Tilak and you can go on YouTube to check out the lyrics. They are beautiful." Related: ‘We see blood every month, let us cover crime stories’ The dynamic duo collaborated for Coke Studio’s season 7 in 2014 and this Sufi song went on to become one of the biggest hits the programme has produced.  Earlier this year, Sufi poetess and singer Abida Parveen collaborated with renowned British singer and songwriter Sami Yusuf for a devotional track titled Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum which was a mix of Arabic and Urdu. The song garnered positive feedback. You can listen to Smith’s favourite track here. Follow SAMAA English on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
