Head coach Mickey Arthur expressed his satisfaction over the performance of youngsters in the five-match ODI series against Australia.
Arthur — speaking at a press conference in Lahore — said that the ODI series against Australia was a chance to try young players in the team.
"It was an opportunity to try additional players," he said.
The head coach admitted that he was disappointed with the 5-0 clean sweep in the series.
"Five centuries were scored and we got a brilliant new fast-bowler. However, the fielding was below par," Arthur said.
Commenting on fast-bowler Mohammad Amir's recent performances, the head coach went on to say that the left-armer is a brilliant bowler but is out of form.
He added that Umar Akmal's attitude was good and was working extremely hard in the ODI series.
