Cricketer Shahid Afridi has refuted the rumours of his retirement from the sport.
"Let me tell you...I haven't bid farewell to the game. I am still playing at the moment," he said while answering a question regarding his retirement after the Pakistan Super League 2019 fixture between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars in Karachi. "I don't know which team I will represent next year but I will be playing."

There were speculations that the celebrated cricketer bid farewell to the sport when he did the lap of honour following Multan's last game of the season. Afridi said that he did it because he wanted to meet the cricket fans.Shahid Afridi "I'm still going to play cricket, I'll let you know when I'm retiring" #Cricket #PSL4 pic.twitter.com/XKe6mPgAuS
