Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed criticised New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor for seemingly raising objections to spinner Mohammad Hafeez's bowling action. The New Zealand batsman was seen signaling the umpire about Hafeez’s bowling style. This made the Pakistani skipper upset and he raised the matter with the umpire. The umpire then went to discuss the matter with Taylor. The Pakistani skipper said that the Kiwi batsman should not have acted that way as he is a professional cricketer. "He did it two or three times -- it's [the] umpires' job. There was no problem with Hafeez's action and [Taylor] was trying to create an issue without a reason," he said.
