QUETTA: At least four security personnel embraced martyrdom and six wounded on Wednesday when a suicide bomber struck FC Camp in Quetta, the second incident of violence in less than 12 hours.
The attack took place in No Hisar area of the provincial capital.
Levies and FC personnel reached the scene and cordoned off the area.
According to a source, security forces were conducting a search operation in the area when it came under attack.
The injured were shifted to state-run hospitals.
Nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the assault, but the city has been frequently targeted by militant groups in recent months.
Earlier in the day, unknown gunmen opened fire on the vehicle of DSP Abdul Majeed Dasti, killing two police officers. The DSP survived unhurt. SAMAA
