Why is Modi holding the ears of Trudeau's daughter in this picture?
NEWS DESK: Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is on an official visit to India with his family and he met Indian PM Narendra Modi on Thursday. Before the meeting, PM Modi tweeted a picture from 2015. Why Modi is holding the ears of Trudeau's daughter while posing for the picture remains an unanswered question.
Nevertheless, the two leaders exchanged warm tweets. "I hope PM @JustinTrudeau and his family had a very enjoyable stay so far," wrote PM Modi. "I particularly look forward to meeting his children Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien. Here is a picture from my 2015 Canada visit, when I'd met PM Trudeau and Ella-Grace."
Retweeting Modi's tweet, Trudeau wrote in French: "Elle s’en souvient bien, @narendramodi! C’est une belle visite jusqu’à maintenant – au plaisir de vous voir aujourd’hui. ????"
