Weather forecast: Karachi likely to receive showers in next 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Karachi division is expected to receive showers during the next 24 hours, said meteorological department on Friday. Meantime, weather conditions are expected to remain cold and dry in other parts of the country. A westerly trough is present along the western parts of the Balochistan and likely to extend western border of the country during next 24 hours and likely to grip upper and central parts of the country on Sunday. Mainly cold and dry/partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. Weather Forecast for next 24 hours: Mainly cold and dry/partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However light rain is expected at few places in Quetta, Makran, Kalat and Karachi divisions. Weather Outlook for next 48 hours: Mainly cold and dry with partly cloudy weather is expected in most upper parts of the country. However, light rain (with snow over the hills) is expected at few places in Malakand, Quetta, Zhob divisions and FATA. Past 24 Hours Weather: Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. Today's Lowest Minimum Temperatures:  Kalat, Kalam -06°C, Gupis, Skardu, Astore -05°C, Gilgit 04°C, Dir, Parachinar, Bagrote, Rawalakot, Quetta -03°C.
