Rain, snow adds to chill; more forecast

A three-day fresh rain spell with snowfall has hit parts of Pakistan, bringing an additional chill in the winter. The rain and snowfall continued in Upper Punjab, KP, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Tuesday, as mercury dropped to minus 7 degree centigrade. Popular hill stations Murree and Nathia Gali also received snowfall that added to beauty of the hill stations. For Tuesday and Wednesday, the Met Office has forecast more rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills at isolated places in upper Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
