BARAMULLA: Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni arrived in the city to play a cricket match but was unexpectedly greeted with chants of 'Boom Boom Afridi' by cricket enthusiasts. It's clear as crystal now--people in occupied Kashmir favour the green shirts as opposed to team India. This was made known to Indian cricketer and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni when he arrived in the city to play an exhibition match organised by the Indian Army. A video clip emerged on social media in which the cricket can be seen surrounded by people who chant 'Boom Boom Afridi' in adulation of former Pakistani cricket captain and swashbuckling all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi. Speaking to media personnel, Dhoni said that it was up to the government to decide whether or not a cricket series with Pakistan could be held.
