Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa visits Awaran school
RAWALPINDI: Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa visited Awaran district.
Besides reviewing operational aspects, he also visited newly renovated Govt Girls High School, Gajjar, which was destroyed due to earth quake and met with students and faculty.
The Commander urged the students to acquire quality education and professional skills. Pakistan Army has provided furniture, 2 school vans, established Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs and re-built 2 primary schools on to provide quality education facility.
Army has also self established a mini market, Vocational training Centre and has donated an ambulance, complete medical equipment and medicines for the Rural Health Centre. - SAMAA
